Just because it’s a BlackBerry application, doesn’t mean you should download it. Many applications do the same thing while one may be free and other paid. Ilock is one of my personal favorites. We all have nosey friends and family who ask to use your phone to make a call but end up taking it upon themselves to look through your messages, pictures, etc and have this weird attitude like it’s ok! Ilock allows you to set a password for any app you’d like! Want to show your friends something on your phone, but don’t want them to have access to your SMS or contacts app? Then ILock is the one! Your even able to lock your blackberry messenger app.  This doesn’t take up any additional memory or battery.

Kindle for BlackBerry

This app has landed an indefinite spot on my BlackBerry (along with audible & barnes & nobiles eReader; all mentioned in previous posts)

I can login with my Amazon account and use the payment options already configured on the website to purchase ebooks. I can also view the first chapter to make certain it’s actually interesting and not just a misleading title before purchasing.
